Have you ever wanted to master the art of making feteer meshaltet, just like the skilled women of Bradrashin? Join our cooking class led by the women of Nawaya Community Kitchen to learn how to prepare the perfect dough, spread it, fold it, and use a traditional Baladi Oven to bake your own feteer. You’ll cover all the basics, and you’ll create your own feteer from scratch. To complement your feteer, the women will also guide you in making your own Bekehero Cheese. The class will be followed by a rural lunch.

Traditionally, this skill was a significant aspect, symbolizing a woman’s suitability for marriage as she had to know how to bake bread for her family. The women at Nawaya Community Kitchen extend their expertise in a comprehensive 2-day class spanning over a weekend covering the entire process – from preparing the dough to using the Matraha for flattening the bread
