Nawaya has the vision to build an active network of community-based organisations that preserve and promote Egyptian heritage food systems.
Our mission is to create seasonal tour programs that are viable for the tourism sector and generate income for small scale farming families.

At Nawaya, we collaborate with local communities to document traditional food products, recipes, and cooking methods. We use videos to capture and showcase healthy heritage recipes. By engaging with rural women, we empower them to play an active role in community development and share their valuable knowledge and skills for the benefit of community health.
